Bees: If you are fast you can catch bees in your net. Be careful you can get stung! If you get stung your face will be disfigured until the next day and some of the animals will react to you differently. Each bee nets you 4500 bells so they are a lucrative bug to catch. Bees can be found my shaking trees. Three random trees will contain bees every day.

Shake Trees: You need no special equipment to shake trees and you can find some good stuff up there. You won't know if there is anything there until you shake it. You can find bags of money, insects (including bees), and even items.

Money Trees: Everyday there is a random spot on the ground that is kinda glittery. If you dig there (shovel required) you will find a bag of money. Without putting the bag in your inventory plant it in the hole you just dug. A money tree will grow in that spot and will yield 3 bags of the same denomination as the one you just buried. Be careful you don't trample the seedling and cause it to die before it grows.

Textures: You can design your own textures at the Able Sisters shop for a fee. You can also design them on your gba for free! The grid used is 32x32 squares. A texture can be applied to your clothes, an umbrella, a sign, walls, and floors. Textures must be applied to both your shirt and your hat! On the girl's hat the texture appears twice, on the boy's hat it appears once. The texture appears on the front, back, and sleeves of the outfit. You can use 16 different 15 colour palletes to make your texture.

NES Games: The first person to start a game on the official memory card it comes with will receive 2 NES games in the mail. Once the animals have asked you when you birthday is it is possible to receive an NES game for your birthday. You can also receive an NES game on toy day (dec 23). Tom Nook has a lottery every month, you can get tickets by making major purchases from his store. The prizes are not always NES games though so it may take a few months.

Gold Axe: You can get a gold axe by having a perfect village score (talk to the wishing well) for 2 weeks. The gold axe cannot break.

Gold Bug Net: You can get the gold bug net by catching one of each of the 40 bugs in the game.

Gold Fishing Pole: You can get the gold fishing pole by catching one of each of the 40 fish in the game.

Gold Shovel: You can get the gold shovel by burying a shovel in one of the glittery spots. A gold sapling appears and once it matures you can get a gold shovel from it. It makes you more likely to dig up better items and larger sums of money.

Money From Rocks: Each day a random rock will be a money rock. When you hit it will turn red and bags of money will come out. Keep hitting it until it is no longer red.

New Year's Money: Every new year's you get 10,000 bell from your parents. Check your mail box.

When you catch all of the 40 bugs in Animal Crossing, you will recieve a silver butterfly attatchment to your house.

When you catch all of the 40 fish in Animal Crossing, you will recieve a silver fish windmill.
